Terms

Fair and flexible access to learning

By registering for Knowledge Nook membership, events or programs, participants agree to the terms outlined below.

Cancellations, refunds and membership terms

Benefits and credits — any complimentary event access included in annual membership forms part of the membership benefit and cannot be exchanged for credit, refund, or cash value, except where Knowledge Nook determines otherwise.

Membership fees — annual membership fees are generally non-refundable and cannot be paused. This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Full event fee refund — more than six calendar months before the event. For example, cancellations for January must be made before the preceding June.

Partial event fee refund — between three and six months before the event. For example, cancellations for January made during the preceding June to September will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.

No event fee refund — within three months of the event. For example, cancellations for January made during or after the preceding October are non-refundable, and the full registration fee will be retained.

Event changes or cancellation

Knowledge Nook reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances.

If an event is cancelled by Knowledge Nook, registered participants will be offered either:

  • A full refund of the event's registration fee, or
  • The option to transfer their registration to a future event (where applicable).

Knowledge Nook is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or other associated expenses.

Registration and payment

  • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
  • All fees are stated in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring their registration details are accurate at the time of submission.

Transfers

Registrations are final and non-transferable to other individuals.
