Knowledge Nook keeps learning affordable while maintaining high standards. Honorary volunteer speakers contribute their expertise for modest fees that cover essential costs, and attendees arrange their own transport and accommodation to maintain flexibility and keep costs lower.

Knowledge Nook is an ongoing community, not simply a series of events. A structured Facebook group keeps members connected through relevant discussion, shared knowledge, and timely updates.

Founded by Dr Dee-Anna Luong
Knowledge Nook was established by Alma Dental Surgery as an extension of its commitment to education, professional development, and community engagement. It recognises the challenges of balancing continuing professional development (CPD) with family commitments and the pressures on supporting partners when participants attend CPD trips.
